CAN ALL ULLA FARTS BE LAID ON TOP?

Yes. They can and should be for better durability and a better glide.

If you use the principles of retention wax for the classic style, a base and two topcoats, you will glide for 50 km or more.

CAN YOU USE OTHER APPLICATION METHODS THAN THE ULLA METHOD?

Yes, you can, but we have developed specific tools to achieve the best possible results.

Our tests have shown that our tools improve gliding performance.

CAN YOU USE OTHER PRODUCTS WITH ULLA GLIDING WAX?

Yes, you can. During competitions, several waxers have used ULLA as a base for all the best racing "topping" finishing products.

CAN ULLA FART WORK AS WELL WITH FLUOROCARBONATED PRODUCTS?

Yes, absolutely. The products have been tested in competition over the last 2 seasons and have won glide tests worldwide... and have consistently ranked highly in comparative tests against high fluorocarbon products.

AT WHAT SPEED CAN I PREPARE A PAIR OF CROSS-COUNTRY OR ALPINE SKIS WITH ULLA WAX?

It takes less than 5 minutes to wax and polish each layer.

For a long distance, 3 layers take less than 15 minutes.

CAN YOU USE THE IRON WITH ULLA?

NOT AT ALL, as this would burn the wax layer and be pointless. However, you can apply any liquid or block of fluorocarbon to the wax layer while it's still cold, as long as these are still permitted.

CAN YOU APPLY ULLA FART OVER HF FARTS AND FLUOROCARBONATED POWDERS?

Yes, of course, this has often been done and improves gliding performance.

DO YOU NEED TO CLEAN THE SKIS BEFORE APPLYING ULLA WAX?

Yes, it is very good to clean your skis before waxing them in order to remove dirt and recondition the base for the following layers.

CAN YOU APPLY A NEW WAX COLOR OVER ANOTHER ONE WITHOUT CLEANING THE SKIS?

Yes, you can re-wax over any color, provided you polish and brush before applying the next color.

WHAT TO DO IF THE GLIDE OF THE DAY IS NOT GREAT EVEN WITH THE RIGHT CHOICE OF FAT ACCORDING TO THE TEMPERATURE?

Depending on the type of snow and humidity, you should always test a cooler color or a warmer wax option for the same air temperature. Snow structure is sometimes very complex and varies depending on humidity. For example, if it's -5°C and the temperature is about to rise, depending on the humidity and how the snow is changing, if red isn't ideal, pink might be better if the snow is hydrated. Or purple might be better if the snow is dry... so if the temperature is high and the glide isn't great, you can change the color to find a better option.

CAN ULLA FART BE APPLIED TO SKIN?

Yes, you can wax the skins with ULLA to increase glide and prevent the skins from icing up.

HOW IMPORTANT IS THE ULLA COLD APPLICATION SYSTEM FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE?

Very importantly, by reading our brochure you will learn how to apply it very quickly with our specific tools.

CAN YOU APPLY ULLA BLACK EYESHADOW OVER A SOLID COLOUR EYESHADOW? (E.G., RED-BLACK OVER RED)

Yes, of course, especially if the snow is changing rapidly and the humidity is very high.

CAN FART AND ULLA TOOLS BE TRANSPORTED ON AIRPLANES?

Yes, even in hand luggage, but make sure the steel handle of the wool roll is placed in the checked baggage section.

WHY DO YOU ONLY HAVE ONE HAND BRUSH AND HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM THE COMPETITION?

It is specifically designed for use with ULLA waxes. Our 100% pure horsehair ensures superior anti-static properties. This brush is highly effective for polishing and cleaning the base.

CAN YOU USE A ROTO BRUSH COMBO?

Yes, you can. Nylon and fine horsehair are fine, but we still recommend polishing with our own 100% pure horsehair brush for superior performance.
